His first hour special, “Louis C.K.: Shameless,” premiered on HBO in January 2007 and is available on DVD. Since, Louis has recorded live stand-up shows at the Beacon Theater, Carnegie Hall and Madison Square Garden. Louis made his London debut performing “Chewed Up” in a sold-out run at The Soho Theatre. Louis created and starred in HBO’s first traditional sitcom, “Lucky Louie,” about the struggles of first time parenthood. Currently, he is the writer, director and star of the hit comedy “Louie,” on the FX network. He had supporting acting roles in the films “American Hustle,” “Blue Jasmine” and “Trumbo,” just to name three. Most recently, Louis created and starred in his web series “Horace and Pete.”
